There is much information on Tai Chi (Taiji) and Qigong now available on the internet and the different styles, each with their many variations, often causes confusion. The following links have been selected to provide direct access to resources which are relevant to our practice and studies:

18 Forms Tai Chi Qigong (Taiji Qigong Shibashi) Set 1 at www,taichi18.com. Includes video clip of the whole routine by Master Wing Cheung. One of the easiest to learn Qigong set, it incorporates the best movements of Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan and hence provides a good introduction to Tai Chi. All our new beginner students commence with learning this routine which later becomes a part of their warm-up regimen for Tai Chi Chuan.

Wushu (Chinese martial arts) as a competition sport at www.wushu.org.nz. Tai Chi Chuan (Taijiquan) is one the primary divisions of sport Wushu. National and international Taolu championship events feature optional routines, standardised routines, traditional routines as well as group routines in the various styles of Tai Chi Chuan.
